★ keep chasing ☆

i draw circles

with my footsteps

and the aftermath

i erase

i tread on the

virgin snow and

win this existential

galaxy race

in the roadblocks

of striped traffic lights

i’m a pedestrian

just another face

but you take a pencil

and a faint outline

of my soft soul

you trace

i miss the way

that i forget the

colour of your eyes

in a haze

i love the pains

of the midnight sky

and how it resonates

in space

you said to run

when everyone else

is shambling in a

languid laze

so i chase away

and burn the pavement

for your polychrome

glass stain gaze.
