Liar, Liar

You don’t like me

I’m a chronic liar

A shared disease

Confessing to friars

I’m just pretending

To burn the words

Down into my veins

Under your world

Because I’m so cool

An untouchable ace

Expendable as rule

Refined with grace

In bloodied fingers

And second guesses

For pain and truths

And stupid messes

But the effect is red

With your sweet talk

I will take my cake

And fucking walk

Do you wanna stop?

We’ve only started

So fill up your cup

This battle departed

I’ll be goddamn fine

Don’t listen to whine

Shrug it away, then

Oops, I’m lying again

My guns are blazing

Like the fire I sit upon

You’ll be sorry, darling

And I’ll bask with scorn

La-la-la-la-lies, lies, lies

I’m not listening today

La-la-la-lie some more

Why don’t you go away?

But just smile, my dear girl

There’s some fun in our war

Let’s play the game fair, and

Be careful what you wish for.
