Alice in the Garden

lit epiphanies overlooking

the pale peninsula

in entities of naphthalene

parchments of aria

diaphanous dirndl weave

fading cornflowers

embroidered needlework

strewn cool odours

fingertips brushed lightly

delicate rose petals

ebullient riparian stream

cascade in intervals

mysterious quiet keyholes

revealing a reverie

never has mine fanciful soul

felt such blithe ferly.

(A poem inspired by the anime Pandora Hearts.)

Wind back the endless time

The turn of the broken chime

Destroy the memories I once created

Remove the pains that I once experienced

The sweet music that flows from my veins

The box of happy memories that I forever lost

The endless links of silver scintillating chains

Revealing my secret, hurtful past

A soft silver thread ties our destinies

So delicate, fragile, like butterfly wings

The slow and intricate melody it sings

Which holds our clandestine souls in one piece

Just like an untouchable, thorny, blood-red rose

I gaze at you longingly from far away with a shattered heart

I want to protect your delicate smile and be so close

Although it will break my scarred hands apart

The chains and the contract may bind me in my soul

But my love for you, it will never bind in hate

They my try to make me bleed and step me out of my role

But for you, I will gladly accept my terrible fate

The acrid, stinging poison that tastes so sweet

The shining pure tears filled with joyous defeat

The rose that I hold in my hands, with blood remains

Laughing happily, yet with a tinge of pain

I’ll wait for you, my love, my dear

I’ll wait forever in the dark chasm of the abyss

Hold back your hate, terror, anger, fear

Because when we’re finally reunited…

Those thorns intertwining your arms and legs will surely dissolve into amiss.

Poem Shorts: Insanity Alice’s Reveries

A dead rabbit in a hole

A tea party in an asylum

The night skies as dark as coal

As wonderland loses its momentum.

I told them all about Wonderland, my most powerful creation

Created simply by a vivid mind and a colourful imagination

Yet they don’t seem to understand my genius citations

Because next thing I know, I’m sedated and put in an asylum.

My my, dear White Queen, how have you been?

As wonderland crashes down, you simply sat staring

Using us as mere pawns for your dark and twisted games

But one wrong move…and checkmate, now you burn in eternal flames.

Oh my, it’s the Red Queen, how simply divine!

How’s your broken life right now? I assume not fine

How’s that noose holding up? Is it cold and breezy there?

Oh wait, my bad, I forgot you’re already burning in hell.

Tainting the pure white with a dark crimson red

The lustrous paint provided by my enemies that are already dead

Dripping from the roses into the growing puddle of blood

On the ground where the bodies lay, and all the corpses flood.
