cold empty mattresses and falling stars

gilded honey

cascading

over sulphur

hearts and

severed hands;

sweet like

almond milk

yet rancidly

sour like

painful lust

.

i hope i don’t

scare you off

with my talk

of dislodged

clean limbs

that i plucked

within the

undergrowth

of my ribs,

tonight, i run

.

i love the

thought of

your germane

affliction,

the shade in

your eyes

speaks like dust

through wind

and i chase

for the ocean…

.

and if i don’t

make it home

before the

horizon screams,

kiss me and

hope that

you won’t be

embarrassed

by the attention

of the moon.

Givin’ the Dog a Bone

You pant for the attentional sake

Growl whenever you get provoked

Hide your face in shame of mistakes

And act adorable when you’re broke

You sit and stay, to get your way

If life was a frisbee, you’d catch it all

You could be beastly when you play

And territorial with your toys’ calls

You mark your spot by pissing…

People off until they simply leave

For the world is your fire hydrant

And its humans, the subjects to give

You acted as if it was yours alone

So now you’re slobbering all over it

Like it’s the juiciest of a steak bone

But then again, you can be such a bitch.

Conciliating the Innocuous Evil

Don’t stop drinking, the water will hold

I’ve got a tap on the oceans, seven-fold

Did I bruise your two lips efficaciously?

You’re an adenoidal suicidal blue baby

Sterile words are asthenic sanitisation

Are you embarrassed by that attention?

A cavalcade of tragedy and menagerie

Demarcated flirtation in grave robbery

My wink scheming pertinent adulation

Vindication is not the equivocal potion

Presentiment is a faux rubbish tumbril

If you wish to execute me, I’ll fire at will.

Daily Forecast: Sunny With A Chance Of Sarcastic

Just for the record, the weather today
Slightly sarcastic, with a good chance of:
A.) Indifference, or B.) Disinterest
To what the critics say…

~*~

You’re out on a shallow rampage, attempting a one-sided battling rally

To transform me into your average person, a standard factory human

For you think that in your radiant diamond-cut life, I’m just a tainted sully

And you’ve really got the strong verve and nerve to denounce everyone

Preachy, holier-than-thou, you can apply to be a pastor at your local church

Save for the fact that they’re actually interesting and won’t go straight to hell

Every word spat out sneeringly, as if the sole sight of me makes you wanna lurch

You stand high and mighty in your podium, like all dictators before they fell

Dangling the rope that you used to pull me out the hole to slip it round my neck

Will you hurt me? Will you not? Hun, my bones are chilling from all the suspense

Wishing to prolong all my agony, like a tomcat plays with its squeaky meal

But I’ll scamper back to my rat hole and drop upon your head reality’s anvil

So learn to look past your shadowy reflection, you asinine narcissistic clot

Pray peer deeper into the pensive, onto the other side of this shattered mirror

But if you can’t even get it past your thick skull, I’ll be very glad to spell it out

You see, when you view it in a less biased perspective, I am not the monster

For I may just be an enemy, a beast, but at least I’ve retained my instincts

And never mind that it’s a bit torn up and battered, my soul still fully works

Truth be told, I’d rather be who you see me, a primal creature who can’t think

Than to join your hive mind and be a steel robot, naïve, unfeeling, and cold

But don’t let me ruin your fun, you silly child, I won’t steal your toys then

Don’t worry, I won’t take away your sweet candy as you always did to me

I definitely won’t stoop to your level, so stop whining, just stay in your playpen

Plus, I’ve got bad knees from too much bowing down to your ego, honestly

I told you already lovie, it’s simply futile, laughable, and eye rolling amounts of rude

You’re just foolishly waging with sticks and stones, charging blindly into a losing war

So why don’t you lay down your garbage pail shield, kindly bugger off, behave nice like you should

Now now, mind your good manners and proper conduct dear, and don’t be such an attention whore.

Die Prinzessin und der Drache

You’ve got a lot of nerve
But not a lot of spine
You made your bed
When you worried about mine
This ends now!!!

~*~

Will you never learn your lesson of not exacerbating the situation, pretty pink princess, shining of faux bravery and twisted self-pity?

Just when the skies were crystal clear to fly in an easy escape, you stupidly pulled along your own cloud of dark gloom and self-misery

Peal princess of glittering pearls and shimmering gold, sheeny fluffed gown screaming loudly with pathetic colours of desperate attention

You’d do anything to get noticed, going so far as to sneak in the dank dusty dungeons and poke the undisturbed malevolent dragon

Drag the entire town along with your destruction, your diamond crown and sympathetic fake smile acting as your personal “get out of jail” card

Crying a storm of teardrops while taunting behind your spineless back so hard that you deserve your own selfish shameless spiteful award

You may be cold falling rain honey, but my fiery shocking lightning strike travels faster than your foolish self-centered mind would care to think

You maybe think you’re safe for now, but I’ve got wizards held captive, and if only hatred is purely poisonous, then dearie, you’d already be fucking killed.

…and good riddance, too.

~*~

I wouldn’t hold my breath if I was you
Cause I’ll forget but I’ll never forgive you
Don’t you know, don’t you know
True friends stab you in the front?

Observatio Ad Interim

It pains me to play along and pretend that I’m still a part of your company

And it isn’t your fault, I was just being a despondent miserable whelp, honestly

But despite this stinging truth, the fact that I’m merely an unwanted extension

I disgust myself the most because I still enjoy this piteous kind of attention.

Harlequinade

Nice, little, innocent girl

Tilt your head, smile, and twirl

Skip a step, blow a kiss

Be the audience’s pretty little miss

This attention wouldn’t last so long

And even birds stop singing songs

So dance, little girl, dance your art

Before you trip on your feet and skin your heart.
