Royal Beggars

Check marks and alibis

The price they pay for teeth

Promises and allegories

Pray for change inside defeat

.

And so to speak and spell

And to charm this hell

Bleed greed and then well

Hope the pigs won’t tell

.

Now talk is dirt cheap but

It does the dirty job done

So just simper and dance

And hold them by the gun

.

Kick back your cold fame

They know the long game

Throne for your lost cause

And mud for your lackeys

.

Sell them out, sell it out

What’s a little bit of treason?

Cut the ropes on the boat

Future’s just an open prison

.

Money screams, ears are deaf

Found the corruption in-depth

Screw the poor, feign defence

Hide under oncoming violence

.

Pockmarks and lullabies

The price you pay just for a seat

It’s all lies, they’re all lies

Isn’t this wasteland such a treat?

iron fist

imprison me

in your pride

as i crawl back

to your open hand

in an act of defiance

.

incinerate me

with your beckon

as i feign free will

and allow myself to be

crushed in your grasp.

Flag Half-Mast

Litter of trash and debris of corpses

Stench of blowflies, decay, maggots

Counting the casualties, all-in losses

With ideologies of an exorbitant rot

Pay no attention to its sickly colours

Huddle under naught but old prayers

All left unheard by those with power

Desecrating humans into scavengers

Scattered, diseased, a corrupted vein

Severed from life of a wicked system

For economy, for democracy or idiocy

Wolves in suits thirst more for insanity

The nation is mourning in bereft wails

But everyone gregariously hears to fail

And they’re too busy bickering over the sound

Of a dead country being lowered on the ground.

Industrial Children

Cigarettes and ramen and a little bag of dope
I am the son of a bitch and Edgar Allan Poe
Raised in the city in a halo of lights
Product of war and fear that we’ve been victimised…

~*~

Industrial child born on milk and silk and honey

Adding further to the growing population tally

Upended on West Street, tales you’ve been told

Dad’s headlines are bold, but your oatmeal is cold

.

High on lucky charms, bye mummy and daddy

The grass is green and atmosphere baked sunny

Ice cream skies topped with sweet cherry bombs

Love felt on bulletdrops falling on your thumbs

.

After your late night shows and silver film reels

After your curious questions and political spiels

They tuck you in the bed with an open nightlight

Pray caution to monsters on your telly to fight

.

Lullaby and goodnight, to the grey stars of smog

Sing along to my song and repeat the bass drop

Doodle stars and stripes, draw your glory wings

Write a poem of death and all the bad bad things

.

Buy your perfect array of round candy stripes

Red on white pattern lush, like rotting parasites

Build your playhouse set of meanest machines

As you quench your thirst on cans of gasoline

.

Playground games held on nuclear powerhouses

Nuclear family and suburban rats and mouses

Paper planes shot down by the airforce strike

On the mountain of rubble you can take a hike

.

Taxes pay the price of freedom and sovereignty

Your balloons inflate and pop like the economy

Selling lemonade on a very busy cardboard street

As your competitors oblige your hapless defeat

.

Play with your iPhones, take a funny old selfie

Candies you crush, and your bitcoins wealthy

Gratuitous sales, mix and match your parents

Hashtag social posts and comment your caren’ts

.

Vote for democracy, take in their bland charm

Pigs festering noisily on a government farm

Kiss and tell, the check marks are welting red

Headless executions are good and all well-fed

.

Pet show of snarling dogs and cheeseburger cats

Layers upon bulky layers of humanity’s putrid fat

Insanity is your most and only decent memory

The acceptable norms for this normal society

.

Insalubrious snarks can taste so damned good

Like happy meals and creepy clown’s fast food

Virtual playmates will forever aid you, even daily

As company, so that you’re always never lonely

.

Education, get your mind and body tossed about

Disappointment, and the teacher whacks you out

Counting numbers of casualties, learn vocabulary

Words get shorter with age, lexicon’s dictionary

.

Learn your ABC’s to write horrible death threats

There’s a red light at the end fight, ready get set

Field trips to open massacres, see severed heads

Interview the victims who wish they were dead

.

Arrested bumblings, itchy suits, young weddings

Obsolete sayings and fast-fading trendy clothings

Swim on saline, sip sodas that taste like chloride

The summer’s hot, El Niño strikes, grab your bike

.

You only live once and die once, so take your pick

Hopscotch on minefields, break bones like sticks

Blow up like bombs on the longer Walmart queue

Run on sulphur streets and flower syringes’ hues

.

Replace your baby dolls with actual baby blue

Your soldiers with guns also have all come true

Earth’s an oyster, you’re the pearl trapped inside

Knock against ivory walls yet it’s still shut tight

.

But the little child won’t stay for long, innocence is never in fashion

Snuff out that childhood like your cigarette and let maturity festoon

Legally dumb, legally aged, legal legends, and legal lawsuits

Children grow up so fast, in order to escape this world’s vultures

.

Industrial child, conceived in a verdant world so rich and healthy

In an abundance of vicious violence and graphic images so wealthy

Industrial child, this is your own place, a personal golden revolution

Millennia of the ages they say, yet reality is a helpless problem with no solution.

And They Scream For Blood

You got your finger on the trigger, kid
You got your finger on the trigger, kid
Line it up, line it up, line it up
And hit me with the truth…

~*~

Visceral parts thrown around like celebrating confetti, a showering rain of liquid ruby carnage

Welcome to the brave new world’s generation, this innovative, clean, technological age

Of brave battles bloodshed and bandages wrapped around weaklings’ wounds and warfare

Where justice is so flexible it can be bent and broken easily by the careless corrupting unfair

.

The tired newscaster rambles on the current vivid headlines blankly in a monotonous voice

As if reading off a shopping list boredly, the lost names, the fallen victims of a such a cruel deed

The government is your empowerment, but they announce that you didn’t have much of a choice

This can’t be helped, we’re here for you, we’re here for greed, your vote is all we crave and need

.

Splanchnic explosions splattering what once was a living human being to the stained white walls

But do their fellow humans run away and cry for help? No. They simply laugh and jeer and call

Asking, almost begging, for more skin and bone and muscle ripped apart to minute paper shreds

Humpty Dumpty’s bones and hearts and eyeballs rolling on the floor, or better yet, a head

.

Eating your cold TV dinners in sickest satisfaction while the hostage shooting still carries on

And slurp down your spaghetti quite loudly as a suicide terrorist kills basically everyone

Our brains were trained to bramble, stumble, handle the different sadistic acts of humanity

But when it all comes down to everything, we’re the sadists that have been brainwashed so cruelly

.

We demand grotesque entertainment to lose our senses and to alleviate our own listless bore

And so we scream, we scream for macabre death and then we scream loudly for even more

We aren’t satisfied with censored pictures, we need photos to shudder even the very soul of God

And so we scream childishly, like primal violent animals, and we scream some more for spilling blood.

Stick to your guns
Stick to your guns…

Sovereign Putrescence

All the dukes and duchesses, off with their pretty heads

And kings and queens, all royal blood will dance in their deathbeds

And those who dare defy and rule with an iron fist

Shall be stripped of their power and to the bloodlust public released

And what is the meaning of equal, when the humans all thirst

For utter power and dominance over others, to be the very first?

And to give the masses power, might just be the ideal suggestion

If only there weren’t so many huge loopholes leading to corruption

Is there anyone at all could find a proper and just solution

And stop giving the way of rule a rotten definition?

But for all the clever geniuses and philanthropists in the world

They get overlapped by the gullible and the megalomaniac’s words

And from this army against, only endless war can wage

Until we are extinct, until the world only passes a crimson age

If only we would stop giving way to those who condescend unfairly

Then maybe the pureness of the world wouldn’t be lost in a government of idiocracy.
