Would You Turn Me On?

You took what you wanted
You got it, you know it
I’m haunted by everything that you gave me
You made me, you broke me, you saved me
I’m crazy, but I’m not done…

~*~

It doesn’t make sense to breathe

When the air is dry and stuffy

Hit my head against the bed when

You said you will never give me

What I want is what you need

So I spend my days counting greed

Breaking my backbone just to fix

Your hurtful words in fragile sticks

So if I’m right, then just blame me

And if I’m wrong, turn to punishment

But if there’s another chance for you

To forgive, I won’t hold confident

Because it doesn’t make sense to leave

When I’ve got nowhere else to go freely

Hit the road when all you have said

Are promises you could never give me.

~*~

So when you gonna give it up?
You’re giving me such a rush…
Just another pretty face
But I want one more taste…

go to cry?

the greed

for bleeds

is forever

held power

sharp things

i’m needing—

where can i

go to die?

Pockets With Holes

‘Cause I’ve broken bones for you
And for you only
I make money but we just can’t
Keep this home…

~*~

i don’t ever want

the world to fall apart

just because of avaricious eyes

begging for fool’s gold

i’ll burn all the money i have

and let my house collapse

into a decrepit debris

if that means i could keep you

because this isn’t all about

shiny pennies and diamonds

that we try to mine under our flesh

and yet only unearth coal

this is about all those prospects

we threw to the faraway moon

how our unfortunate fates

aren’t spun into twisted infinity signs

yes, our mouths may be empty

but it doesn’t mean our hearts have to be

so set your faith past obscuring greed

and cease bleeding for the sake of worthless riches.

~*~

Give me your heart
And your hand
And we can run
(You’re my hope)…

Consumed

Yeah, this is what I do, take another bite
Big enough to chew
She said, “Careful, or you’ll lose it”
But girl, I’m only human
And I know there’s a blade where your heart is
And you know how to use it…

Entrée # 1: Hors d’œuvre

There’s blood in my fingers from where you broke them clean

Take another bite of my quivering torso, gut the blade in my spleen

I’ll be alright, my bloodshot eyes roll back at your finer tastes

If you’re planning to murder me, dear, just don’t let me go to waste

Entrée #2: Apéritif

I couldn’t lose it, I wouldn’t lose it, this time, this time I swear

They all look so goddamn tantialising to me, they’re all so unaware

My cracked lips are watering at the thought of flesh rather aged

I’m five seconds away from counting down and going into a rampage

Fine Dining: Plat Principal

The rioting voices in my head screamed “Run, why don’t you?!”

But I’m afraid I’m enjoying my own homicide scene far too much to stop

Turn around, let me see the perpetrator, let me take you through

It’s not fair, with every gland and chemical, they ruptured in another trap

Save Some Room: Assiette à Dessert

What…what the fuck happened? All I see is a decaying cadaver still smiling

And sweet postmortem laughter digging at the back of my head, latching to me

I searched for a drag, lost restraint again, and satisfied myself with my  f e e d

I said that I’ll stop killing for greed, but I never said I’ll stop for what I  n e e d.

And you can take my flesh if you want, girl
But, baby, don’t abuse it
These voices in my head screaming, “Run, now”
I’m praying that they’re human…

A Letter For Future Youngbloods

As little moments fade, they come forth at night
Demanding all I think about, maybe it’s how we roll
Well, I can’t get better of stone, I won’t be letting her
Out and I can’t keep drowning this down…

~*~

Don’t let my arrival stutter this departure

Hostile eyes for bankrupt hearts endured

A balance between cosmos and dopamine

Atrium burns irascible, drunk on kerosene

.

High time to return my inimical courtesies

Retaliate and sophisticate, lavished parody

Atrophy my sanity, perversity on the floors

Convalesce as I lock up the revolving doors

.

Moments of sunshine, share words of harm

Briefcases brimmed blue, serpentine charm

Girls in the courtyard as boys make amends

Falling dollars, promises and lies to be spent

.

Cutting corners, raised stakes, paint, repent

Gamble equivocal disgrace, true half-meant

Situation at its vertex, but it never escalates

The venturers and inveterates said retaliate

.

But the end’s always the same as all the rage

Lying all alone and sleeping on spare change

Waiting for the world to reveal its only hand

Children of men, don’t pretend to understand

.

Glowing eyes extinguished by the fading moon

Kings of contagious plagues, stonewall’s gloom

Force of habit take society’s fashionable design

What is yours is mine and what is mine is mine

.

If I gave you all of my decency, showing up my only face

Ostentate, create, but don’t spend all of that in one place

Dear unfortunate youngblood, where did your youth go?

Your future’s squandered away, there’s nowhere to be so.

~*~

Oh, your eyes they glow
So pretty, they’ve lost their word
They king me the love
And I know I’m dead inside
I’m reminded every night
So girl, just know it won’t be me…

Three Wishes

Mortal wishes, the hearty desire

I wish all these doors are on fire

Spinning skull yet in moratorium

Long lines thought an auditorium

.

Mortal wishes, the greed not to die

I wish the scissors would never lie

Vertigo angle yet standing straight

Out of the theatre, over all the wait

.

Mortal wishes, of the soul sacrifice

I wish I could wish more than thrice

Djinn can be cruel, trapped in a bottle

You grant them now, you lost this battle.

Viva La Liberación

Arrogant invigoration of the man who held the nation

Aids, abets his information down the line of desperation

Holds the skies of bluest azure, paler than his sickly pallor

Wasting into silent terror, desecrate the florid colours

Forbid the likes of perversement, thought he ought to make a statement

But his lucky stars were all spent, can’t even pay for his own rent

And that man and his ambitions foolishly went for sedition

Lines of war and pure corruption, blame the mass for veneration

One can take the greed no longer, and their army’s growing stronger

Firestorms burning on the water, chaos ruling for the better

Pedestals fall for injustice, sycophants crawl for their service

Triumph sounds a trumpet solstice, as they take back what wasn’t his

Veterans of civilian spars admiring victory from afar

As the flag upright ceased the war and smiles arose from bloodied scars

Arrogant false desperation for the man who broke the nation

Yet fear not his litigation, for we hold our liberation.

Diamond Blood

Diamonds end with bloodlines

Their predilections undermined

Festered growths underhanded

Faithless Angelus before a bed

With the queue of fool auspices

Plucked plumage for headdress

Poisoned by her own implication

Rictus lock-jawed in desperation

Her tasteful repugnance, forlorn

Whilst the vicarious girl is shorn

Shaven away, her flaxen tresses

Taken apart, her alluring dresses

All she has loved with conviction

Been forced into uncouth eviction

She surmised she could get away

Perhaps, they’d let aptitudes stay

Haphazard heart, painstaking pure

Dosage of monstrosities for cures

Last to transude, her precious soul

Desiccated, tarnish bejewelled coal

Diamonds shall end with bloodlines

So pay your price, emolument of lies

Burnishing mad ’til your fingers bleed

An effulgent illusion of a vestal greed.

All Hail The King; God Save The Queen

When there’s no future, how can there be sin?
We’re the flowers in the dustbin
We’re the poison in your human machine
We’re the future, your future…

~*~

Wallowing in your vast wealth, swim in limitless riches and sheer opulence

With your hard-worn pride glimmering blind and your greedy ego’s corpulence

Your golden throne and bejewelled shiny crown is your gratifying sanctity

Your own way of safe protection against life’s endless cruel infidelity

.

Dine as many times a day as you wish, with the finest of food and silverware

And a bath of lavender and rose petals shall await you later on, laid prepared

With tailored suits and expensive gowns donned, shan’t you have a party?

Dance to the beat of the music and mingle with the highest orders of society

.

Paid postage stamps donning your sharp profiles, lick it and then stick

The poorer ask for empty grumbled bellies fed, why not let them eat cake?

The criminals fled and burned witches dead, sick entertainment to no end

Bring the executions on, strike the razor guillotine, and *thwack!* Off with their heads!

.

Power and soldiers will save you from the hive crowds, masses that flock and hate

Chainmail armour will protect you from crimson roses’ sharp thorns that badly scathe

Cold currency can buy you everything that you ever wish for at your own disposal

After all, money talks better, and it’s sadly true that human avarice is universal

.

Your banner stabbed and raised upon the ground, designated coat of arms boasted, flag fluttering

Rewarded with that twisted satisfaction of making a mark on this earth, such a sweet dignified feeling

But not all that glitters is gold; people shall look upon you not with fear and respect, but rather loathing and pity

And the centuries will come and pass until you’re nothing more but a mere forgotten footnote in the books of history.
