luna cielo

for there never was

and never will be

a finer vagrant soul

to poetically allude me

than the billows of notes

that fall from your shade

and the stars in your lips

to sing a thousand serenades

dear, if only i could compose

about all my woeful throes

in lights enchanting as yours

no word a wasted recourse

and the aesthete that lies

beneath restless amber eyes

will dream up a promise

for fallen eternity’s premise

where the universe spins

as relentless time should be

and no whispers of parallels

between the lines of you and me

i’m quite dizzy from the sun again

but i’ll close my hands, count to ten

and wait against such fragile hope

that you’re the sunrise to decode

so why do i weep, ever still?

in the midst of my bedroom floor

only bare remnants remain, until

a voice paints a distant nevermore

of faithless keep, an endless rue

tomorrow’s heart, nor i nor you

southern nights, quaint afterglow

the days pass on as we’ll quietly go

i may be weary, yet do not think

i’ll give up when i’m on the brink

let’s chase the wind, and we’ll ascend

to an everlasting paradise we can spend

for there never was and never will be

a finer valiant soul to poetically allure me

than the muse of the moon and billowing notes

that fall from your shade and the stars that you wrote.

Headlines & White Wine

I could never tell what’s on my mind when you are inside it

Lenient limerence against the lashing lacerations, on repeat

Over a cypress tree you painted in grey and told me to climb

Vagabond heart hiding behind a million branches, I can’t find

Elusive footprints you left in the virgin snow sing a soft melody

Defying the limbo I’m trapped in, fugue nightmare of my vanity

Your cinder block notes and forte strings cut me to the very bone

Orchard chasing sunset, counting sparrows until we end up alone

Undersea glow that drowned my eyes in a steady gurgling cadence

Victory you’ve held apart from me, my darling southern enchantress

I see now the sky you perceived, the suicide reds and sweetest scarlet

Clairvoyance of the words you tucked in my head, I won’t ever lose it.

you’re the

southern lights

resplendent

and pyschidelic

in antarctic

midnight

oh, and i can

only hope you

will stay

long enough

for me to

stop straying

from my path

and return

to the right way.

↑SKY↑

I’m the firmament

You’re the sea below the sky

Kissing horizons.

~*~

↓SKY↓

Clashing shades of loathe

Mechanical emotions

I hold whole spectrums.

~*~

↑GAMES↑

If love is a game

I’m your floral opponent

Forever remains.

~*~

↓GAMES↓

If life is a game

I’m a nursery playmate

And I’ll make hearts bleed.

~*~

↑ENDS↑

Marmalade sunsets

Spilling amidst warmer souls

Final tastes of sweet.

~*~

↓ENDS↓

Broken and fractured

Desensitised to fiction

Waiting for rapture.

~*~

↑TALK↑

The wind sang a joke

And the entire planet laughed

Until their pains broke.

~*~

↓TALK↓

Nothing but blue mouths

Mutilating tongues purple

Until ears bleed red.

~*~

↑HOPE↑

I wished to get far

Pink stars hiding under hills

Catch them with my jar.

~*~

↓HOPE↓

I’ll take all your hate

You plead me to have some faith

It’s too late, why wait?

~*~

↑COMPANY↑

The forest’s my friend

And I whispered my secrets

To her willow bend.

~*~

↓COMPANY↓

Melodramatic

You’re so fucking pathetic

But it turns me on.

~*~

↑GOODBYE↑

A hypothesis

I fall upwards onto space

Dancing with the sun.

~*~

↓GOODBYE↓

A parentheses

I sink downwards into hell

Screaming as I run.

Bleed Out

Zero friends
Follow your voice into
A sea of crosses
And blends in with the foxes
Gold and feels like home
Under the surface
My love…

~*~

Stay on the wire

When all the foxes take

Your charm and voices

And never state their causes

Fall nevermore under

The liquid surface now

Hold on to the river inn

You’ll drown alive somehow

But, beware the cross

And the X on your face

The agony fire of the loss

And swallow razor blades

Tonight your broken legs

Will take you on south

Walk the million miles

And we’ll be bleeding out…

.

You’re so fucking cheap

Why don’t you find originality?

You’re so insipid so

Stop with the treachery

I’ll call you out when you’re

Not listening to me

Princess, your pink shame

Is out of style and banality

Drag your heart along

The pavement to soften it

And let the wolves chase

Your rancid acid shit

It hurts like hell, but I’ll

Take my grave and drink

The fall will be safer

If you don’t stop to think

It’s best if we take the

Southward hemisphere about

I’ll stifle your screaming wounds

Before we’re bleeding out…

.

But darling, don’t worry

I’ll forgive your modern rage

When you’re aching for attention

On the walls of floral beige

Do you trust how it feels?

Do you like the taste of air?

The way nails and hammers

Caress your straw doll hair?

So hold my limpid fingers

And leap with my start

Past thorns and the red couch

That keeps us both apart

And we’ll fall past the curtains

And the forest of the green

Tumble like cigarette ashes

On the drains of nicotine

We’ll abuse southern hospitality

The night is ours to steal, no doubt

And before you come and know it

I think we’re both bleeding out.
