√ćkaros

submit labyrinthine will

to the empty defiant gods

and slithering in tongues

sharp riddles and daggers

allowing the burning halos

to mine paradise once lost

and repent away the wings

of arrogance in melting wax.

melting point

please leave

me alone

i don’t wish to

mould a candle

wax smile,

dripping off into

an ugly shapeless

mass the longer

the fire burns,

and i don’t want

you to get hurt

by its scalding

remains.

wax & ink

ideas burn

and melt

like a midnight

candle

this burnout

is more

than my wick

can handle.
